Types of Massage Offered

 Swedish

Techniques characterized by gliding strokes to manipulate the soft tissue to stimulate blood flow, reduce stress, relieve pain and promote an over sense of wellness.

Prenatal:         

A safe, calming massage for women in their 2nd & 3rd trimester who are experiencing a normal, healthy pregnancy. The massage techniques are modified to meet the needs and comforts of the expectant mother & her baby. Prenatal massage promotes relaxation, reduces headache, inflammation, muscle pain and joint pain.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (intact lymphatic system)

This is a very sedative and light skin technique used to support the lymphatic system. It promotes healing, pain relief and the decrease of inflammation. Typically used to reduce migraine pain, swelling caused by surgery, pre/post cosmetic surgery, reduce symptoms of sinusitis, allergies and injuries.

Oncology Massage:

Oncology massage traditional massage that is modified to incorporate parameters designed to safely work with the complications of cancer & cancer treatments.  It is expected that oncology massage will help reduce pain, anxiety, depression, stress and inflammation; and promote better sleep and relaxation.

Deep Tissue:   

Deep tissue employs the natural motion of the joints and muscles with Swedish and non-Swedish massage techniques. The intended outcomes include muscle relaxation, release of adhesion, calming of pain and increased mobility.

Sports Massage:        

Massage requested by athletes before sporting events to stimulate blood flow to the muscle and after sporting events to relax  the muscle; it can help reduce the risk of injury and be used as an effective tool for rehabilitation following an injury.

Trigger Point Therapy:         

Techniques that are incorporated into a massage treatment for clients experiencing a specific area of muscle tightness with associated referred pain. The techniques, although not pleasant, are very effective at calming pain and improving functionality.

 Cupping & Massage Therapy

Cupping therapy, in combination with traditional massage therapy, is a very effective means to pain relief;  increased mobility; reduced inflammation; trigger point release and improved circulation.  

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel an appointment, we require 24 hour notice for individual services and 48 hours for multiple services to avoid 50% service charge. Notice is accepted on-line, by email or telephone.
